Introduction

The IES 1080 A is a robust and compact 8-port 10/100M Industrial Ethernet Switch designed for reliable operation in harsh environments. Compliant with IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, and 802.3x standards, this unmanaged switch provides a simple plug-and-play solution for extending your network in challenging industrial settings. It features auto MDI/MDI-X sensing and auto-negotiation on all its RJ45 ports for easy connectivity. Built with a Store and Forward switching process, it supports a high Packet Forwarding Rate of 1.1904 Mpps with a 2K MAC address table, ensuring efficient data transmission across your industrial network.

Designed for maximum operational flexibility, the IES1080A accepts a wide-range dual DC power input of 12/24/48VDC (9.6 to 60VDC) via a removable Terminal Block connector, and includes redundant power inputs for non-stop operation. Its rugged design boasts 4KV Network Ports Surge Protection, 2KV EFT Protection, and built-in Reverse Polarity Protection. The switch is designed for DIN-rail mounting with an IP30 Aluminum Alloy casing, ensuring durability. It can operate in extreme temperatures, from -40ºC to +85ºC, making it ideal for deployment in industrial networking, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), and other critical industrial applications.

The IES1080A is certified for key industrial standards, including FCC Part 15 CLASS A and a comprehensive set of EN 61000 and IEC 60950 standards for EMI, EMS, LVD/Safety, Shock, and Freefall, guaranteeing its quality and reliability in demanding industrial environments.
