The IES 104-2S A is a high-performance, cost-effective 6-port Unmanaged Industrial Ethernet Switch designed to meet the high reliability requirements of industrial networks. It features four 10/100BASE-TX RJ45 ports for standard copper connectivity and two 100BASE-FX SFP slots for flexible long-distance fiber optic connections. This combination allows for seamless conversion between twisted pair cabling and multi-mode or single-mode fiber, making it an excellent solution for extending network reach. Its switching architecture includes a Store and Forward process with a high Packet Forwarding Rate of 0.89 Mpps and a Packet Buffer Size of 768Kbit to ensure efficient data transmission.

Built for operation in harsh environments, the IES 104-2S A offers robust features and reliability. It supports a wide-range redundant power input (12 to 56VDC), ensuring continuous operation, and includes essential protections such as Reverse Polarity and an Overload current resettable fuse on the power inputs. The switch is designed to withstand extreme temperatures, operating from -40C to +85C. Its rugged, IP30 Aluminum Alloy casing supports DIN-Rail and Wall-Mounted installation, providing deployment flexibility. Furthermore, it offers 4KV Surge protection for both power and Ethernet ports, safeguarding the device against electrical transients.
