Introduction

The SC10MK2 485 MT is a high-performance, versatile Modbus gateway designed for complex industrial integration scenarios. It is engineered to connect multiple RS-485/422 device chains—common in applications involving DCS, HMI,PLC and sensor networks—to a central Modbus TCP network. This converter's powerful processing capabilities and dual-port design make it an ideal choice for aggregating data from numerous field devices like energy meters and solar controls.

Featuring two independently configurable RS-485/422 serial ports, this converter can manage a high volume of data traffic. It is built on a high-end MIPS CPU and supports up to 8 simultaneous TCP masters, with each master capable of 32 simultaneous requests. The device also offers exceptional installation flexibility with multiple power options, including standard AC/DC inputs and an optional Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability, which simplifies wiring in challenging locations.
